Excel can recognize the symbol of the stock and fetch stock quotes using MSN MoneyCentral Investor. First, activate the Smart Tags by selecting [Tools] [AutoCorrect Options] [Smart Tags]. Make sure the box "Label data with smart tags" is checked and press [OK]. Open the Internet and enter a stock symbol into the Cell. A small green triangle will appear at the bottom right corner of the Cell. Move your cursor over the cell, then click on the icon that appears and select "Insert refreshable stock price." Choose "On a new sheet" to display quotes or excerpts on another Worksheet or "Starting at cell" to display the stock price at the Cell that you are open.
