Facebook Gets New Server

Prineville, Oregon, United States of America - Facebook now is crowded, the number users already reached hundreds of millions, applications and features area already getting bigger.

Faced with this growth, Facebook decided to build a data center itself. Servers and storage field will be established in Prineville, Oregon, United States of America.

The new data center is believed to belong to be more efficient than the practice has been hired by other companies. also implemented in terms of energy consumption efficiently.

At first, Facebook was able to run only one server only. Now, with so many new people joined, they need additional capacity of server and data center, as said by Jonathan Heiliger, The VP Technical Operations of Facebook.
