Windows 7 Tips and Tricks

1. Shuffling Through Program Windows
If you are running some files from the same application, Windows 7 shows you switch picture from the taskbar if you click it, but if you want it open directly by window, you can hold CTRL and click the application on the taskbar.





2. Managing Window by Resizing it
You can resize any window, by pressing Winkey + Left Arrow and Winkey + Right Arrow to resize it to be half of the screen. Winkey + Up Arrow and Winkey + Down Arrow to minimize or maximize it. And also Winkey + Shift + Up Arrow and Winkey + Shift + Down Arrow to restore its size.

3. Project Display with Ease
You can simply hit CTRL + P when you're gonna switch your PC screen output to monitor only, duplicate, extend, and projector only.

4. Switch to Desktop by One Click Faster
Just hover your pointer to the corner of the right bottom, there is an aero button, click it and Windows 7 will bring you onto the desktop.

5. Live Clutter-Free
Hit Winkey + Home to minimize all inactive window behind the active window. To restore it back, just repeat that key.

6. Pin Up Your Favourite File or Folder
Windows 7 allows you to pin anything up onto the taskbar, just simply bring any file or folder onto the taskbar, Windows 7 will place it there for you. So, you can run your favourite file or folder faster next time by one click.

7. Open New Window of File or Folder from the Taskbar
When you're running some number of files, you need to open the new one of the same file, but Windows 7 will show the switching window of the files because you are still opening the same file. To open the new one faster, you need to hold Shift when you are clicking the icon of that file on the taskbar. You can do it too by clicking the middle button of your mouse.

8. ClearType Text and Picture Adjust
Simply go to 'Start' from your taskbar and run "cttune.exe" and "dccw.exe", they will bring you to ClearType Text Turner and Display Color Calibration. You also may look them on the Control Panel.

9. Taskbar Number Order
You can run any file or folder from the Taskbar without click, just simply press Winkey + 1, Winkey + 2, Winkey + 3, and etc as the order of the file or folder on the Taskbar. It works up to 5 orders.

10. Taskbar File and Folder Switching
You can choose what file or folder that you want choose as you desire, hit WinKey + T to switch the Windows 7 attention to the Taskbar, then choose them by Left Arrow and Right Arrow.

11. BitLocker is Protecting Your Privacy
Just simply right-click the partition of the harddisk or even external harddisk or USB, then choose 'Turn on BitLocker', it allows you to encrypt them.

12. Scenery Shuffle
Windows 7 allows you to change and personalize your desktop by your own desire, you may shuffle your Desktop Background automatically, simply right-click on the Desktop, then click 'Personalize', then go to 'Desktop Background', there is an option which allows you to choose your favourite picture folder and mark the 'Shuffle' box, then change how often it will change, personalize them by yourself, it will fresh your mind to your PC.
