Did you get a virus and lose some files and folders? It's not gone, it because the virus had changed the registry of the Windows and hide those files and folders, you need to fix it back by go to Registry Editor (Start - Run - "regedit"), then find this directory:

in its folder named 'CheckedValue' and "DefaultValue", click them and give them value '1', then open the Folder Option on any opened window and mark "Show hidden files and folders"
